Drone Showreel 2017

Central Victoria Drone Showreel | Aerial Compilation

I recently uploaded a YouTube video showcasing Central Victoria. The Drone Showreel has been viewed by over 11000 Facebook users and 2000 YouTube viewers throughout Australia. The Drone Showreel took over one year to produce, showcasing many places I visited for aerial photography and aerial video projects throughout 2017.

When viewing the video, choose the Closed Captions option to overlay the locations. Viewers wanted to visit some of these locations and the location names are now displayed. It’s also best to watch the movie in High Definition (HD) and Dolby Digital surround sound.

Some of the challenges I had was picking 5 – 10 seconds worth of video clips from each location. When filming, I usually take around 30 minutes of video footage per location. This transfers to 12GB of video per shoot. For 2017 I had over 740GB of video shot in 4K. For the Drone Reel, I was brutal with the video editing and chopped clips to make everything fit within a 6-minute song.

In the Media: Thanks to Bendigo Advertiser and Emma for covering this story.

Central Victoria is truly a beautiful place to live.
Thanks for your support in 2017.

Bendigo Aerial Update

Bendigo Aerial will officially open in February 2018. Short delay because I was too busy with work commitments and existing projects. The ReOC or Remote Operator Certificate has been issued by CASA and now it’s only a matter of finalising the website details and design to open the business. Initially, I’ll be offering free drone aerial footage for your event, business or social media marketing. This will be our test to fine tune our processors. So if you require drone footage, please get in contact with me. Finally, please bookmark BendigoAerial.com.au and check in on the site later this month.
