Top Three Features I love ❤️
Passthrough and Mixed Reality Magic
One of the standout features of the Meta Quest 3 is its passthrough functionality and mixed reality capabilities. With two RGB cameras and a depth sensor, this headset seamlessly integrates your physical surroundings into your virtual world. Experience a higher quality passthrough. Watch, play and work while in familiar surroundings like your office, room or gaming area. Ten times the resolution of its predecessor, you’re not going to run into your walls, chairs or obstacles. The hand/body tracking is insane. See the Passthrough and Mixed Reality
Unparalleled Visual Delight
With pancake lenses borrowed from the Quest Pro, you’ll enjoy a sharper image, wider field of view, and improved comfort. (Resolution of 2,064 x 2,208 pixels per eye). You can actually read emails, and work on documents with crystal-clear images. I’ve even held online meetings with people from another country, watched movies on the big screen and attended live events where I couldn’t be.
Gaming and App Store is Awesome
The Meta Quest 3 is not just about stunning visuals; it’s also a powerhouse when it comes to performance. I love gaming everything from Xbox to old-school Raspberry Pi Emulated Games. One of the standout features is the expanding game and app collection. Learning to play the piano, running around with Gorilla Tag and playing first-person shooting games in my own house have brought a completely new perspective to my online gaming experience. I just need to figure out how to connect my Xbox to the Meta Quest 3. (Virtual Desktop? Maybe)

So is the Quest 3 Worth Buying?
As a proud owner of the Meta Quest 3, I can confidently say that this virtual reality headset is worth every dollar. I paid $800.00 from Amazon in Australia. Delivered the next day. I just can’t believe how far technology has come over the past 1 year. Just imagine what we will be wearing on our heads in another 5 to 10 years at this rate.
I love ❤️ using the Meta Quest 3 for remote work and gaming. With its advanced mixed reality capabilities, enhanced visuals, and powerful performance, this VR headset opens up new immersive experiences that I have never thought of. Yes! Totally worth it!
Sidenote: Bendigo Aerial and WalkingDroid are not affiliated with Meta. This is my opinion from using the Meta Quest 3 for the past 3 weeks.
